Ann Coulter, @&#%!!

I am doing some work for DSU, and I was looking into Ann Coulter. For those who are privileged, and have not been exposed to her, she is the right wing's bulldog. Or, one of them. She has two websites, anncoulter.org and anncoulter.com. These are both owned by "Coulter, Ann" but they have two different PO Boxes listed as their "Street Address." They also have two different phone numbers, which coincidently do not correspond to the PO Boxes. Here's an overview:

Anncoulter.org:

* PO BOX 1241 New York, NY 10028-0009
* (202) 298-4766 [that's a Washington DC area code)
* anncoulter@aol.com

Anncoulter.com:

* PO BOX 447 Herndon, VA 20172-0447
* (570) 708-8780 [that's a northeastern and north-central Pennsylvania area code)
* ns7ff4bv5vy@networksolutionsprivateregistration.com

Now, I tend to believe the first one more, because the IP address is logged as being from Washington DC. I'm not sure what to make of this, because there could be a completely reasonable reason for having this inconsistency.

.....or she could be lying and making shit up.

Another Official Update: Xanga

It also official now that my Xanga blog will no longer be updated. I've made a post with a link to this, so this will be the new blog. I'll be cleaning up this place, settling in, and working on stuff for the DSU. So....yeah. Make yourself at home.

DSU: Website

It's official! The Democratic Student Union will have a website! it will be:

www.calDSU.org

It's not up yet, because I need to make the webpages and Dmitri needs to configure his server. But here are some neat features it will have:
  • Forums- we will use phpBB for our forums. It's a clean, fresh-looking interface, that might be very familiar to you. When I get home, I will upload a pack of smilies (the smilies from Gaia) They are cool looking.
  • News- we will have constantly updating news on issues and articles that relate to the DSU and California High School. Hopefully, I can make an RSS feed, so we can have those as live bookmarks that you can subscribe to.
  • Articles- You can submit articles to yoshokatana@gmail.com and I will review them and (when the articles section is online) post them, unedited, on our website.
  • Links- what would a website be without links? We'll have links to news issues, other democratic unions, and other websites of interest.
  • Our Manifesto- I love that word! We will post our mission statement (manifesto) on a page, and perhaps we can have comments on it, submitted by our community.
  • The Other Side- we'll have links to major opponents, so that you can read their words in context. We believe that it's always good to hear both sides of the story, unlike Fox News.
  • Donations- I'm not sure what the policies are for raising money for clubs, so we may or may not have a paypal donation button. If we do, be sure to donate a lot! (Mmm...shameless promotion)
  • Members- a list of members and their roles in our club.
  • History- A (short as of now) history of our club, which we'll be updating.
  • Contact- phone numbers, adresses, and emails worth noting (us, school administrators, government offices, etc...)
If you have anything to add, please email me at yoshokatana@gmail.com

Ok, this is a poll. So choose by commenting on this post. ok?

Should I use this blogging service, or stick with xanga?

c) You are a worthless individual and don't deserve a blog!

Thank you for your time.

Xanga: An update

MOOD: Patiently waiting for Mia to return

WAI~~!!!! Mia-chan's coming home tomorrow! Oh, I'm so happy!! ^_^

But, on the other hand... I still won't be back until the 10th of August. Well, at least I can finally call her. That's a consolation. watashi no koibito... <3

Um...so...an update. Hmm....oh! I went to Connecticon this weekend, and it was fun. Eh...lets see what happenned.

I got there at 11:00 AM, and parking was very hard to find (they were actually finishing the construction of the connecticut convention centre). I went in, bought a pass, and walked around for a minute before I realized I had to go up a floor. ^_^

For the first while I was in the dealer's room, looking at all the things to buy. (I had $100 minus the admission [$20]) So anyways, I called up some people and asked what they wanted, spending a bit of money. After that, I walked over to the game room, where they had Halo 2 (among other games) on projection tvs. (four huge ones)

A few hours later (heh) I went back into the dealer's room and bought more stuff. After that, I watched some of the Cosplay Chess match. It was very...humorous. Many inside jokes about different series. ^-^ fun!!

After that ended, I visited the Dealer's room one final time, then attended some panels by various webcomics. One panel had the people from: Applegeeks, 8 BIT Theater, Ctrl-Alt-Del, VG Cats, and Penny Arcade on it. (Tycho is a bit odd, Tim Buckley is cool, and they all don't like when crazed otaku barge in, interrupt, and demand when the next panel is going to be) I sat in on the "Comments and suggestions about the convention" panel. That was good. A few other people and I volunteered to be mindless minions for the convention staff, in order to get free T-Shirts that said "Volunteer". Amazing what people will do for a free T-Shirt. (nods to "Moogles Gone Wild") Anyways, we volunteered, and I got to pick up all the stuff that stupid people leave lying around. An unopenned box of Mechwarrior figures and a bit of manga later, and I was done. On the drive home I listenned to the Audiobook of Al Franken's "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them", read by Mr. Franken himself.

That was a fun day, and I can't wait to give out all the presents I got everyone. (NOTE: Stuff is expensive at the convention, so the people who answered their phones when I called got the first choice. If you didn't answer, I probably still got you something, but it might not've been what you wanted. I apoligize.)

Blog Published!

Well, this is the first post of my blog. I'll import some things from my xanga. Or should I leave them there and start this one anew? Comment!

Also, I was wondering if people like the format of my new blog. I personally love google. Hmm... Comment!

That's about it. Ja!
