"This is my letter to the world"

Good day everyone. I've found out why I never post on this blog. I don't communicate during the day. I never have. Since I was sentient, I've always kept my mouth shut, using only perfunctory communication to stay alive. It is at night that I used to read. Thus, it is at night that I write.

Mostly I would rant to people on AIM. If you are someone I've done this to, I apologize. It is the only means of communication that I truly enjoy. At night, it seems, my inhibitions are lowered. In this way, my lack of sleep is much like alcohol.

I presume I will continue to post in this manner, so that I may share a bit of myself, and the information with which I am constituted, with all of you. I have read your blogs, I know about you. I'd like to grok you. I'd like to have emotional connections with you. Yet, this is a two way process. We cannot grok unless you grok me. Here I am.

I guess the next logical step is for you to read, and me to post. I shall do this in short order. If you really want to know me, more than just my smile or comments, I would suggest calling me. Imagine that you are Holden Caulfield, and it's 2 AM on some cold, New York night. Late august. You desperately want to talk with someone, connect with someone. You aren't depressed, just alone.

I'd also suggest that you call either at night, when I'm in the city/Berkeley (somewhere where I can think), or when I have consumed alcohol. As I don't particularly like the taste of beer, and wine is expensive, I think your best bet would be at night. (925) 577-3990.
